Submission Guidelines

1. Submissions should align with the themes of sports law, media and entertainment law.
2. We encourage a diverse range of topics within these themes, including but not limited to copyright, personality rights, ethics, broadcasting rights, anti-trust etc.
3. Submissions should be between 1000 and 1500 words. Longer or shorter articles may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
4. Co-author (total of two authors) submissions are permitted
5. Articles should be well-researched and based on credible sources. Clear and concise writing is essential. Avoid jargon and aim to make your content accessible to a broad readership. Visual aids such as images, charts, and infographics are welcome, but ensure they are relevant and properly credited.
6. The article should be an original work of the author and not under consideration for publication in any other journal or blog. The work should not be plagiarised. Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification for publication on the Blog.
7. Facts, authorities and other sources shall be duly hyperlinked. Citations shall be used only if an online source is unavailable. Citations shall be in OSCOLA format.
8. The authors shall receive an acknowledgement email on the receipt of the article by the Editorial Board. Once the Editorial Board acknowledges the receipt of an article, it will go through a rigorous editorial process and the decision about its acceptance or rejection shall be communicated to the authors.
9. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for us to process your submission and respond with feedback or a decision. You will be informed of the status of your submission as soon as our review process is complete.
10. The editorial board of GCSEL will evaluate all submissions on the nature of the topic, depth of research, and novelty of arguments. The editorial board prefers contemporary topics within the domain of the focus area of the blog.
11. The blogs will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Formatting Guidelines

Submission should be mailed in a MS Word document with the following formatting:


● Font- Garamond; Font size- 12; Line spacing- 1.5.
● The document should be justified.
● Footnotes (if used) shall be in Garamond, font size-10, line spacing- 1.0 and justified.
● No speaking footnotes are allowed.

Submission Process

Submissions should be sent to gcsl@gnlu.ac.in in an editable Word document. Please use a clear and concise subject line, such as "Blog Submission - Your Article Title”. Authors are encouraged to reach out to us via the same email address for any queries or clarifications. The editorial board will be happy to discuss topics prior to submissions.

Copyright Policy

By making a submission to GCSEL, the author(s) agrees to grant non-exclusive, royalty free rights to GCSEL to publish and promote their content on the platform. Due authorship credit shall be given to the author We look forward to receiving your insightful and engaging contributions that will help advance the discourse on media, entertainment, and sports issues.
